ORY for '02 with stock manifolds

Just out of curiosity does anyone know of a company that would sell an ORY for stock manifolds to fit an 02 camaro? Ive seen them for 98-99 i beleive but not for an 02. What is the difference between those years? Thanks for the help.

You can get pipes from tbyrnemotorsports.com that bolt in place of the cats...or there's a Stainless Works oryp. I had the ones from tbyrne on my '99 and they seemed to work well. The SW y-pipe is on my '02 and I have an exhaust leak that needs a little welding. Just a matter of what you like I guess.

Re: ORY for '02 with stock manifolds

Unless they came out with something new, the SLP y-pipe is a replacement for your stock y-pipe and it will NOT eliminate your cats. Therefore, it's not an off-road y-pipe. You could probably pick up a used one for less than $100 if you want to get rid of the flat spot in your stock y-pipe. But, to get rid of the cats, you'll need a SW oryp, MAC oryp, Bassani oryp, or those Mufflex cat-delete pipes I told you about earlier. The funny thing is, for a little bit more money (less than $600), you could get longtubes and an off-road y-pipe. So, why even bother tinkering with it unless you're getting it for free?

Thanks for the replys. I was just curious about one because i kinda am just looking for sound and if i have to it will be easier to unbolt and put the cats back for inspection purposes. I already got nailed once, which is a long story, so dont really want to again. But really, how much of a difference in sound will i notice. I have a magnaflow cat-back. Thanks again.
