I never noticed it before but now when i am just driving or coasting my guage will be at about 55 psi and go up when accelerating. Sometimes it will even randomly drop to about 45 and look normal. Before all this it would be around 40 to 55 all the time. Is it my guage or something else?

 

well the gauges arn't exactly precission instruments. But from what you described, it sounds like the pressure sending unit may be the problem.

 

did u do gauge face swap recebtly???? doesnt sound like its that bad.....the oil press does vary
