Oil pan Gasket

Has anyone change thiers yet. Mine is leaking but not sure whay has to be removed to get the pan down. Its pretty tight between the K-member and to the tranny pan. Any help appriciated. Pics even better.

You will have to jack the engine up to get the pan down. I'm not sure of the exact procedure, I haven't been under the car in a while. www.ls1howto.com my have a write up on it.

I remember doing a pan on my g/f's 3.8. I ended up dropping the k member down. I needed an engine support up top to hold the engine up.
