It's an LS2 intake.

That'd be a good motor to put your stuff on -- 05 Vettes are 6.0L LS2s with LS6 heads.

Well ****, I might see about pulling the LS6 heads and putting my LS1 heads on the Vette. Would that cause the Vette to run like crap and throw SES and that kind of stuff ? Hell, would the LS1 heads bolt to the LS2 block ?

And what about the LS2 intake, will it bolt up to my LS1 heads that would go back into the Vette ?

Of course it should all bolt back up, but do you actually need the engine to run?

Yea I do need the engine to run. Insurance has already came to look at it and cranked it just to see if it ran and it does. They never popped the hood to look at it or anything so they would never know the difference since it has the Vette LS2 covers and everything on top of the motor. So yes the LS2 intake will bolt onto my LS1 heads ? That's the last piece of the puzzle I need to make sure of before I do this. Also will the Vette run alright with my LS1 heads and it's own LS2 intake w/o much issues if any ? Maybe just feel a little sluggish and that's about it ?

This would be out and out theft. And what about the guy that spends his hard earned last pennys at the salvage yard to get that 05 'vette 6.0l for his car and can never figure out why it runs like crap?

Agreed. Don't be a douche. If insurance already came to see it and it still runs, then there's a possibility that the original owner would buy it back for the motor. Swapping parts would be criminal.
