Girls drive V6 stangs not guy they usually drive gt's, cobra's. Why do lots of f-body owners talk trash about stangs and most stang owners have lots of respect for LS1's? I like both Ford's and Chevy's but I trust my stang with 144K miles for reliability more than I do my 4K miles on the LS1. I've had more trouble with my LS1 in the 8 months of owner ship than when I bought my stang with 116K the 1st year of ownership. With what I've gone thru with my LS1 already and all the problems I hear about with these cars I'm worried about my car falling apart when I get 10K miles. I'm gonna keep both cars for now. If my problems keep coming with the camaro then it's hello 331 stroker for my stang and bye, bye camaro.

Cuz they know who's better ,and know the LS1 will hand they're a$$ to'em.
It does suck the probs you have,I'd be a little disenchanted too..I guess not.
No probs with my 2 camaros,No slap, nothin 37,000 mi.I did lose the PS at the track from abuse(v6),hey thats racing.
As far as stang owners when using my v6 primarily sooo many challenges all the time cuz they didnt see the z28 badge.I whooped quite a few GTs in the 6.Now I have yet to have one challenge from a GT drivin my Z28 now they just look staight ahead like I dont seee you,no reving and intimidation it's funny.Respect/Scared.
But yeah they are reliable I have Bronco w/5.0 still running since 88' only trans went out,and everything leaks.I have a Cougar XR7 w/4.6 since 94 and no probs cept Cats.As far as powerplants go.
I'm not bashing the Mustang dont get me wrong its a pefectly respectable sports coupe, I wish one would give me a chance to annihilate them

Yeah, my wife drives a Y87 and she gets that **** on occassion from GT drivers. Why would you pick on a woman driving a V6 Camaro? No offense to the women out there but most women buy these cars for the looks, not for the horsepower (both Mustangs and Camaros). Hey GTs- leave the v-sixers alone.
