Noticeable difference between styles of subframe connectors?

I'm thinking of getting subframe connectors to stiffen up the body for the street and occasional trips to the track.

Wondering what real difference there is between boxed, tubular, and the "double diamond"/SLP type. I can get some tubular weld ins for under $100 and SLP type for around $150.

I DON'T autocross and DON'T plan on using slicks or drag radials at the track.

I'm thinking tubulars would be good enough for my needs and the SLP's would be over-kill. What do you think?

Double-diamonds would be overkill.

Weld tubulars or boxed would be more than enough for your needs. I don't know about other brands, but with BMR, the boxed are a bit stronger, but you lose a little clearance compared to the tubular.

heh, well.. "hai" is "yes" in japanese. Drugs are bad.. mom was right.

The bolt ons are easy to take off, so you can sell them when you're done.. thats the advantage I would see.
