Next mod? poll

Well I am face with the hardest question for a camaro user with some extra cash laying around, what should my next mod be?

Post why you think I should get that mod if you would like. The choices are:

1. Headers
2. B&M ripper shifter
3. Pully set (crank, wp, ps, alt)
4. 3.73 or 4.10 gears
5. appearance (lights, leather interior, ss hood, etc...)

get the pulley set cause i read somewhere that it will increase your mpg by 2 or 3mpg. I would think gears (more fun) would decrease by the same amount. I'm all for mods that give power and increase economy!

Headers. You've already got the Hurst shifter. Plus, headers would finish off the exhaust system since you already have the muffler's, Y-pipe, and air intake setup.

Second choice I agree with the cam, but if you do that, do the pulley's and heads at the same time to get the full benefit from each component.

Just my $.02,
Daryl

since the shifter is so cheap, and makes such a significant difference in the act of shifting and NOT MISSING GEARS...get that.

as for the pulleys...the only one i know of that is available for the LS1 is the ASP crank pulley...there are not ps or wp pullies avialable. although asp does make an alt one, but i don't have it and don't have any problems charging.

i think you should do headers then gears...

Shifters do jack sh*t IMO, Gears kill mileage, youre gain will be very minimal from pullies. Appearance?? Only appearance mods worth doing on an Z28 are hood and/or wheels. But they are really afterthoughts. Do headers car will sound badass with complete exhaust plus it will be able to breathe completely. Most gains plus you can add on a cam and see some real gains from it if you have some LTs.
