well if it's that easy to get there then why not shoot for 9s. Basically I'd like as fast as possible while still able to drive it everyday. Also, are the stock internals strong enough to handle a supercharger?

The stock internals will handle 5-7psi. More than that and you'll want to change pretty much all of the internals.
At 7psi, intercooled, with ported LS6 heads, a cam, and all the supporting bits, I'll bet you could get over 600rwhp and stay streetable.
How fast 600rwhp will get you down the track is all dependent on the chassis and suspension (and the weight).
Keep in mind that you'll need a roll bar (6 point) once you break 11.50 ET, and a full (at least 10 point, I think) cage when you break 10.00.
That is, unless you don't care about running it at the strip.
