New to the LS1

New to the LS1

i had a 3.4 v6 and went looking a lt1 then i test drove a 98 transam and that is all it took i have been looking exhaust for a **** emission area i think i have decided with hooker cat back then some LT's

Very nice, you'll want to get a lid as well. If you're looking to pass emission then I'd go with the flp headers, they come with interchangable orps and cats.

Enjoy the LS1 man! Before you know it you'll have blown thousands of dollars on your car, not including the payments

Yeah, if you're worried about emissions don't get LT's lol. Poor Cali people

it has 69k

i actually live in NC and i think i might still go with LT"s if i cna pass the sniffer not sure how emissions work on this car i just know that if the cats are located to far back you wont pass a visual inspection right?

No they won't pass a visual, anything that moves the cats from their stock location isn't legal. However they'll still pass the sniffer.

Congrats dude,I wasnt impressed w/the LTs either over my 3.8. Love my M6 LS1 very impressed,33,000 miles California
