Question headlight grinding, are they rebuildable?

I have a 99 T/A and the R/H headlight grinds after going down. Are they rebuldable or is there a fix for this?

Usually a problem with the plastic gear being stripped out. You can fix it by flipping the gear (only 1/2 of it is actually used), or by replacing it with a metal gear. Search one of the LS1 specific sites for more details...

good luck,
Shane

buy the replacement bronze gear from brent and don't deal with it anymore, GM should have used these in the first place.
