Question New holly intake for LS1

I just got my holly intake for my 98 LS1 camaro,
it seems I have to modify the water line under the intake
to make this intake fit. The instructions say to use the LS6 parts to do this, they plug the back two holes and only have a crosstube on the front. Has anyone else done this? Does the motor run hotter this way? Thanks.

There is a forum specifically for LS1 tech questions, and I think you will get a faster response on "LS1 Tech"...... moving post there.

It will NOT run hotter at all...like you said use the block off plates in the rear...make sure you use a new rubber o-ring....delete the old tubes and install the new LS6 cooling tubes in the front. All 01' and 02's run like this...there are no issue's

Good luck

There should be no problems. I haven't heard of any trouble.
