I'm skeptical too.

Scan the timeslip and make me a believer. As of right now, I don't believe it.

Here's his slip.

Even though I'm seeing it on paper...I'm still finding it very hard to believe about the 60', at least not on stock tires.

Question

Very nice run!!! Excellent for the mods that you have. But...........
I don't doubt that the slip says 1.59 for the 60' But timing equipment isn't prefect. Sometimes there are errors.
A 12.6 @ 107ish in my car at 3575 lbs. is a 1.72-3 60' and that's with ET streets, a ST3500 converter, and a dead hook.
My best run is in my sig. and you'll see that even at 12.15 @ 111.3 the 60' was only 1.64. A 1.59 would have put me in the 11s on that run.

I'm sure he definitely had a good run but this is NO doubt a track timing error guys with that 60ft time even though the sheet says otherwise. It is simply impossible to sixty like that with a stock converter, stock gears, stock suspension, stock tires, etc...I'm big into dragracing and it usually takes 4000+ stall converters and slicks to run that quick of a sixty, although it has been done on 3500's and BFG's here and there. Like I said, he has a nice car that runs well, but that track computer equipment needs some re-working alright.
