Which would be better to do between these three upgrades

New LT's and an off-road Y pipe

4.10 gear set

New Cam kit

 

I'm assuming you've got an M6? Most guys don't opt for 4.10's with the A4.

For a difference you will FEEL, I'd say do the 4.10's first, then headers, then a camshaft (since you'll then already have the open exhaust in place ).

I'd check and make sure your engine isn't pinging because of that Hypertech program. I had it programmed into my car 'til the guy at the dyno shop pointed out just how much the car was pinging!! I only noticed a little bit of it at the track before, but never thought I was that bad. On the street, I always had the radio going, and never really noticed.

If you do headers, and especially if you do a cam, you've pretty much GOT TO get your car tuned anyway, so get rid of the Hypertech tuning, and get the car dyno tuned.

 

I would do exhaust first... then do gears WITH a cam.

I would also say definitely do headers first, b/c with out them most other mods will be restricted. Then do the cam and Z06 intake manifold, with a professional tune.

 

Id go long tubes 1st...all good mods though
