Re: Need Information about exhaust systems

Wow Keliente your Camaro is really hot. I'd wish it would be easier to tune american cars in Germany but unfortunately they are pretty rare so it's very hard to get legal tuning parts.
In fact yes I could stick to VW, BMW, Mercedes and so on and tuning them would be very easy and very cheap. But I like american cars, so even our nice gas prices ( 1,44€ which is about 2 $ per Liter) can't get me away from that.

So I hope that my Maro will one day also be a nice and hot car.

Wow.

Ok anyway, to clarify things for our german friend here, I mentioned the SLP Dual Dual. That is totally differant then the one the kid here recommended, the SLP Loudmouth (Ironic that he would recommend something called a "loudmouth" huh?) The Loudmouth is NOT California legal, it doesn't even have a muffler, it's just chambered. It wasn't a dealer installed option. The only exhaust upgrade you could get from the dealer was the Dual Dual.

Yeah, you're best bet is to compare the systems listed here on that site. When you click on a system, they also give you a comment about it at the bottom of each page.

I just know my CORSA is pretty quiet at idle but still has a deeper tone, and when you push on the gas it really opens up and sounds great!

Wow, I'm hurt a partially illiterate loudmouth called me a moron. Ya, I have a Germanic background as well as a Native American one. Still want to get into who is an American now? I'm also a decendent of Charles Carroll of Carrolton. Since you're such a great American you should know who he is, but I'd bet you'll have to google his name. Yes, I do speak some German and some Spanish too, but was born and raised in the US. I just prefer not to live life with the self centered blinders that you are exhibiting. Lets hear about your inbreeder cornbread heritage since you want to bring up others.

Maybe you should slow down and spell so we all don't have to break out our idiot decoder rings to decipher what you write. Look at the rubbish that you wrote!!!

And WE are the ones who can't read?

Ya, I knew you were trying to make a joke, but then you passed it off like you were just "being helpful" by telling him SLP was good. So where in the satement above did you ever say that? Then I still held my tongue until your immature attitude prompted you to start your personal attacks.

You know about blowers huh? If you knew your head from your bum you'd know that you can't run a roots on the gen4 because the cowl is in the way and yet you still ask about it. So much for your self proclaimed great automotive knowledge. Now go comb your mullet.

Uh, Keliente is a chick. A chick who knows more about cars than your stupid ***. Didn't she already mention that IN THIS THREAD? And I thought Eddie was the biggest retard on this board.

Geverae, you may want to check out LS1sounds.com to hear what some of these exhausts sound like, then possibly contact the manufacturer to ask some more specific questions about the sound levels. They'll have the most authoritative info about decibel levels anyway.

Wow this is turning into a mad hate fest..... i never understand how come we hate and get all bent out of shape with eachother.... WE ALL have F-Bodies. We should all help eachother in a nice manner. We some people just dont know that much so they come here hoping to get an honest answer to thier problems. I know the people in the Transmission section have been nice to me when i asked some simple questions... so is to too hard for this guy to ask for help with exhaust without getting a smart *** answer, i dont think so. So lets just help a fellow F-bodier out....

I totally agree with you.
So I start and say sorry for all bad things I said. I was a bit angry about the answer but you are totally right that we should help each other and stay together.
