need help on a ls6 svalve springs

need help on a ls6 svalve springs

i will be putting a comp cam on my 98 Z28 camaro 522-529 lift do you think that the ls6 springs could take this lift.

Yes...the LS6 cam has .551 lift or there abouts and the springs are good to .570. Why are you bothering with such a small cam? You could step up to a 222/224 .566/.568 112* cam (which is still considered mild) and grab a few more hp. There are several variations of this cam and it is quite common in the f-body world. A friend of mine went with the 224/224 .581/.581 112* version and is quite happy. It's definately a streetable cam and you can put down 380-390 rwhp with bolt-ons. Do a little research before you jump in...or call one of the speed shops in the sponsor section and ask for a little help with cam selection. G/L
