What would be the best thing to do with cutouts for performance? Put dual cutouts in place of the cats or put a single one?? If just a single, would this give me as much hp as dual cutouts, and where do you mount a single one?? Thanks.

I did a search but couldnt exactly find the answers i was looking for, so i figure i just ask.

with the cam, i would do dual cutouts, put them back a little ways from the collectors on the headers so that you don't mess with the A/F.

duals will probably get slightly more than single, but not a ton. probably more peak, but you may lose some in the lower rpm (or just not gain as much)

 

Yea it's for the car in the sig. So exactly where would you recommend putting them?? In the Ypipe?

 

I would think one cutout in the I-pipe before the bend over the axle would do just fine. You don't want it too close to the O2 sensors like previously mentioned. But, I highly doubt you'll see a difference between 1 and 2 cutouts. Just my $.02

 

well im about to get a tune and i'm going to delete the o2 sensors, would you still recommend in the i?
