can you change heads with engine in car?
I'm saving up for a head/cam/intake swap in my '00 T/A. It looks like it might be possible to leave engine in?Has anyone done it and how hard is it? I got spoiled by working on fox bodys for 10 years.

Cool. I was'nt sure if there was enough room to get the torque wrench in there. I should have the money saved up by the end of summer.

There is, but you can get the entire front cradle out of the car in less than 2 hours with a buddy, and this will save you a TON of headache wrenching on that thing.

just to give you an idea on how to do it in the car, here's pics of when i did it on the wife's 99 formula http://www.stealthram.com/1999pontiacformula.html then click VHP head install.
