my tires...

I have BFG G-Force T/A KDWS

are they considered regular street tires? Or are they meant to heat up (like a performance tire)? Just thinking about the water at the strip...

just dry spin them a little bit to clean em off, heating em just makes em greasy and slick.....a good rule of thumb is dont burn out long enough to make smoke.

yeah a little sqeal to clean debris off, anything beyond that just reduces the tire life.

you are better off playing with pressure than doing burnouts

i wouldnt go lower then like 22.

i run 18... but thats a drag radial....

i DID have a friend with a bolt on LT1 go 1.7X 60 foot on a sumitomo street tire with 12 psi in it, but i WOULD NOT suggest trying it.

Lower pressure doesn't mean better traction in a radial. If you drop the pressure in them the traction patch cups leaving the outside treads w/all the traction duty. If you over inflate them they arc, and you run on the inside treads. Adjust your pressure so your burnout looks even and this is your optimum tire pressure for a radial. If they are inflated incorrectly, they will not wear evenly.

Lower pressure works on bias ply tires. (MT's) They have a weaker sidewall is why.
