It wouldn't suprise me to see a '98 convertible automatic car trap less than 100 in bad weather, especially with 2.73s
Asked the same question. Never got a response. My bet is that he has no clue what gears he has. Probably has 2.73's.

The car has 3.23's. Also, the MAF was cleaned after the poor numbers at the track. I assure you that I didnt touch any of the little sensors.

Well if you cleaned the MAF AFTER you went to the track why don't you go back to the track with your clean MAF and run again?

Re: My LS1 traps 97...help!

My car traps 100@13.8 *97 A4 LT1* without headers or anything...

Just a CAI, thermostat, PCM tune, LT4 KM. Anyone think that's pretty good for a light modded 97 auto with no traction? My rear tires are completely bald! Hoping some drag radials and a torque converter will bring me at least a 13.2

Something isn't right, LS1's are usually trapping 102-103.

He said earlier that he was going back to the track on Thursday to test things out again.

Check back on the first page - it's right there.

So what times did you run with the cleaned MAF?

Re: My LS1 traps 97...help!

even though this was my lt1.
i put the k&n on and fuel filter after my first few times at the track. best stock was 14.6@95
then after k&n and fuel filter, my nest two times out i ran 14.3@98. spinning, but the traps came up quite a bit.
i am just saying that fuel filter was probably my culprit. u should try that also over the next week
