Unhappy My 98 Z28 died today????

Today on the road out of nowhere the engine got real sluggish and at the exact same time all of the gauges started moving back and forth like windshield washer blades and all the dash lights started flashing the car snapped out of it after a couple of secs. Then I stopped to put gas in it and it would not start not only that but nothing work lights, windows, radio, blinker...nothing oh except for a new noise...clicking noise from glove box.....also about a week ago both keyless remotes stopped working.

I am new here so I apologize if i posted in the wrong place.
I did search the forum prior to posting but could not find any threads with my exact problems.

Thanks in advance for any ideas

It's probably the battery, a bad cable connection, or a bad main cable.

First get the battery checked out. Then look at the cable condition.

if your car died while driving it then you probobly have a bad alternator, which then killed your battery. you can get both your alternator and battery checked for free at auto zone so that is your best bet

you said there was a buzzing coming from the glove box, beware your body control module could be bad. This happened to me and I went through 6 alternators and many more batteries before figuring out the problem. Definately first check your battery connections and replace them if they are old looking, then test your alternator if its bad, get your bcm tested before you replace it.
