I got a 98 A4 TA that will get a revamp fairly soon. its got 200 k miles on it. totally stock. I plan to buy a low mileage ls1 or ls2 and rebuild the tranny. i'll build up the low mileage motor with heads, cam, stall, etc. Any of you know how much a bitch it is electronically to put in a 99 up ls1 in a 98? I don't want to spend countless hours trying to fix somthing i shouldn't have done to begin with from the start. should i just try and find a low mileage 98 ls1 or go on with getting a 99 up low mileage one?

 

if you just swap the block and heads you shouldn't have to worry about much of anything.
