Which mod?

Alright guys.. I have a simple opinion question.
I have some money and want some mods but cant spend too much. What I found in my price range was gears or an ls6 cam. Now i was lookin at 3.73 gears... which one would you go with. I am a daily driver, I would rather have headers but as money the issue goes im limited. Which one would get me better track times... not necessarly horsepower. Which one would you guys pick Thanks!

First 3:73 gears on an M6 are hardly worth the effort.

As far as cost, you may be under budgeting if you believe that headers are significantly more expensive than a cam or gears ... they all price out about the same, by the time you include everything to get them properly installed.

But of the 3, a set of 4:10 gears will probably put the biggest smile on your face ... an LS6 cam will probably underwhelm you, wait until you can drop an extra couple hundred $$ and get something else - if you want to stay budget minded, a hotcam has more potential ... I ran the times in my sig with a hotcam - in an A4.

Re: Which mod?

why a ls6 cam? something a little more custom can be done while keeping it streetable for a daily. 3.73's are pointless as mentioned above for a m6, a4 its a differant story. how about a ls6 intake!?! it would have to be used for your budget, but a small but noticable gain and better throttle response. ssra for $200. dont know prices for suspension mods. drag radials. plenty of cheap stuff to do in the beginning.
