Milage on some Drag tires

Im going to get a set of 295/35/18s- how many miles do you think that I will get out of them? Normal driving conditions- with a race here and there.

What brand? With Nitto's, you can expect anywhere from 10-20,000. Not sure on the BFG's, but I know it's considerably less.

I got a year out of the Nittos. There still in good shape but light in the center. I run BFG G-force 295/35/18 drags now. If you go 295/35/18 they might rub under fast cornering. The low drag tire pressure and soft sidewall makes the tire move around a bit. The BFG's hook better than Nittos. Hope to get year out of them

I bought a set og BFG DR's when they first came out back in '97. I think I got 2200 miles out of them.

I have been through a bunch of Nitto DR's as I have been running them since '98. I typically get 10-11k miles out of them, but the tread is so thin in the middle for the last couple thousand they are not safe for inclement weather. Contrary to some posts, I find Nitto's to be awesome in the rain when new.
