Midwest Converters?

Where can I find out about them? Anyone have an opinion on these converters?

Look here

I've got a Midwest 2800 stall 2.5str and it seems alright for the price I paid for it. There is some vibration with it that was not there with the stock converter... even when sitting still. I can't be sure it's the TQ converter though. This is my first higher than stock stall converter so I have nothing to compare it with. All I know is it forced me to buy a set of DR's because my traction went from kind of hooking up to spinning sideways on a launch at the track!

Thanks! How loose is this converter? I also have the 2.73 gears and was thinking about a 3000 w/ a 2.5 STR. Will this be any trouble for a daily driver. I was just reading a lot of opinions on ls1. com and no one seemed to have any complaints w/ Midwest, is there any?

I really don''t have any complaints with mine. It does feel loose when driving normally... but still very drivable... though it took me a couple of weeks to get used to it. But I think I mentioned... this is my first higher than stock stall so I don't know what another one... like a Vig or a Yank would feel like.
I did read a few good reviews on the Midwest unit and a friend of mine has one in his trailer queen... the price was reasonable... so I gave it a try.
