Is that all that is necessary to convert to a Corvette intake? And will that work with my 2002 Camaro? Opinions?

 

I think you are confusing that with an LS1 manifold. I really don't think that will fit on your Z....It may, but I really doubt you'll be able to close your hood. I think that you are looking for this: LS6 intake - not the air filter/air filter box from a Vette.

You could also get a new Air Box Lid - those are made for the F-body (your car) and will help you out.

Don't go buy an LS6 intake manifold, you already have one on your 2002. That holley manifold will show little or no benifit on anything but a heavily modified car. As far as the air intake, I don't know if it will fit and I don't know what kind of gains you would see but, for $10.00 it might be worth a shot. I would just go buy a lid made for F-bods if I were you.
