Manual Fan Switches

Are they even worth it? I live in MI and we have some hot days..but thats sometimes very rare..or an awful lot. Ive found a couple for like 30$ were you just have to tap into 4 wires and its all set. Is it actually worth it? Perfomance wise or anything?

I have one and honestly dont use it all that often... it does help a bit, and ive used it most when sitting in traffic on hot days just to throttle the temprature back a bit.

yeah, as stated, it is mostly for sitting in traffic so you don't overheat (although as long as your fans and wp are good that shouldn't be an issue) and for days at the track to keep the engine cool in the lanes.

i live in south florida, don't drive in much heavy traffic and probably use mine once a month in the summer. if i had a track close by...i'd obviously use it more though

Use mine during autocrossing... run hard, then the car sits, run hard, then the car sits... easier to keep the engine (and esp the PS pump ) cool with the added airflow...
