maf and air temp sencor question
ok all kina funny question. I was messing with my air lid and forgot to plug in my MAF sencor and my air temp sencer, and drove the car. I noticed that the car was shifting hella hard. After i pluged them back in it shifted fine. Why was this? Whould this be a good think to do at the track?
It's because the PCM uses the MAF readings to determine load too set trans line pressure.
And no this is not a good mod for anywhere because the PCM will set a code go into limp home mode after just a short time with the SES light flashing.
