I don't know what kinda gains you're gonna get for sure, but with the two I'd guess you'd see about 30 hp. As for the cats that MAC uses, I read on a post a few months ago that showed they had a pretty crappy flow rating considering they were "hi-flow" cats. I was thinking about going with MAC myself, but I just don't have the $$$ right now. They make it really tempting, especially when a good high quality set of long tubes start at $1300 (FLP, QTP, SLP, PPC). Just my 2˘.

well im not trying to hit 10 seconds or anything. but i think for a regular street car macs will do just fine. theres a big like 500 dollar difference with macs and qtp and flp. i would like the hookers but then you gotta spend more money for a custom y pipe with cats. this local shop can get me my lid and ftra, and macs with installation for 1250. thats not bad. hey, i think mac has a full length header as well. they told me about it, and also i saw it on a magazine that mac has a full length header.

My friend has a '00 SS and had some engine work done at Car Tek. They suggested the MAC headers to him. They said they offer the best results for the Price.
