Its an auto with 90K on it. So you were 1/2 right.

The only thing I'd be afraid of is the auto, I bet its a bit pricey and hard to come buy a manual setup for a C5, the 90k thing I dont know if I'd go for that but its not all that high, could probably have some fun with it before going 427

If I had known about that car, I defiently would of driven down to take a look at it. Its 4K less than the SS I just bought......and ive seen LS1's hit 150K with no problem. All depends on how well it was maintained.

Get the LS1 but for like 12000

I got my 98 for 11 grand. I walked my brothers LT1 that has a hotcam and mid length headers. I just have the free mods. I have an NX kit, but not fully installed.

yo where the *** did you get an 98 ls1 for 11 grand in miami? i've seen them for a lot more... looks like the cheapest place to get an ls1 in florida is in one of those hick towns in central or north florida, lol (no offence to anyone who lives in north/central florida, hehe)

i dont think u will notice too much of a difference with your switch. your car looks like it was decently modded so i would say the new car will feel similar to your 94.
however LS1's react to mods extremely well. we have a cam, headers and bolt on car with a 12 bolt that runs 11.5's!!!!they have a lot of potential.
good luck with your new car. happy modding

The car is banging too!!! Leather interior, t-tops and 63000 miles. It was on the lot 30 days after I first drove it, so I came back with my offer and rolled off the lot. They had an SS, but it was gone on my way up there to get it. They also had a few TAs. This was back in October 2002. I doubt you can get one that cheap now.

Fort Lauderdale. I can't remember the name of the dealer off hand, but it is right next to a Saturn dealer on Sunrise a few miles east of I95.
