Can I use the original aluminum driveshaft from a friend's '01 WS6 six speed car in a '96 six speed Z28? The WS6 car is ready for a serious driveshaft and I'd like to replace the steel shaft in the Camaro with the aluminum one.

they are all interchangable from 83 to 02...no matter what engine/tranny came with the car
