Where did you get them jet hot coated with the extensions? What are you waiting for, the warranty to expire?

OK, I went to the Hooker and Jet Hot websites. At Jet hot I can't find headers for the LS-1, and at Hooker all I can find are super comps for the 98 LS-1. Could someone post links to the 2001 versions of these products. Thanx

You can either e-mail or call jet-hot, trust me, they have the hookers! Just give em a call or shoot them an e-mail asking them about the hookers for your car.

Here is information on a jet hot header install. Apparently the fit is not of the greatest quality.
Jet hot fit not too good

i have been researching, and i found a good deal on some bassanni midlengths. they are ceramic coated and since they are midlengths, they usualy don't have all the problems as LT's give.

I love my SLP's,
They are not a very easy header to install i will say that lol..i had a fun time..even though i was by myself when i put them in hehe..i have had these headders for a very long time and they are sweet quality and awesome fit and finish...everyone down here with FLP's regret buying them that i know of..and there are quite a few!Hooker's are great quality also i have no complaint's about hooker's...i have installed quite a few on friends car's and they love them....but hands down...SLP's are great quality, not exactly the cheapest..but well worth the money!and don't beleive that bull**** about tuned headders loose power with bigger cams..not true at all....i have yet to run my car with my new set-up but the power munbers speak for themself's for an a4!! 412 rwhp and 423 rwt SAE dynojet..will run the car soon...but those SLP's really pull up hard on the top end also...very nice power...cheers SLP's!!
BTW new set up is Absolute speed S2 heads,Futral motorsports F6-114 cam,SLP longtubes, and various other little bolton's..i pulled that number with minimal tuning and stock ls1 intake manifold!!later,

carter

i think the big deal with the tuned headers, is that they are tuned for a certain rpm, rather than a stock motor.

You can buy them from ThunderRacing, or TBryne already coated or from JetHot, they are Hookers coated by JetHot not the new ones that Jet supposedly designed. They come with everything you needed except 02 sims if you are going to run the off-road-pipe which you order seperatly.

I am waiting on my EGR blockoff and Stage 8 bolts then I'm putting these bad boys in!

I don't think I replied to this post yet, but take a look at the QTP headers, they are often called the best, and I have yet to hear a bad thing about them. www.quicktimeperformance.com you can find additional info about them here. These are the ones I plan on going with if Uncle Sam gives me money back in April!!!!

I spoke to Barry yesterday and I am placing my order next week. I need to know though...some info on good high flow cats. Not crazy expensive, but a good flow regardless.
