Ls7 Ecm/pcm

Can a regular (LS1) OBDII PCM be used for an LS7?

There are certain parts/things that need to be used....like reluctor rings and knock sensors. But, you can control an LS7 with an LS1 PCM. I think the reluctor on an LS1 crank has only 20-some teeth where as the one on the LS7 crank has 50-some teeth. You need the smaller one.

the Ls1 pcm ia 24x and the ls7 pcm is 58x ...

you could also use the 07 and up Ls2 PCM as its 58x aswell...its plug and play with the LS7

also the 07 up LS2 pcm along with the LS7 Pcm are scaled to read boost pressure...
