I recently bought a GMS Lid off ebay. After hooking everything up it seems there is an air gap between the lid and the MAF sensor, i tried clamping it for a better seal but it still pops out, am i missing a piece or something?

 

My SLP lid has a rubber piece that connects the lid to the MAF.

 

its like that in mine too, i got an SLP "LS1" Lid and i forgot to instal that rubber piece. try going to Auto Zone i Ducted mine so it works great
