Ls6 intake

Ok so I put a ls6 intake on my 98 z28, but now my idle is all messed up and likes to rev up to about 3000 rpm's but always is different. I heard that if I reset my computer and drove it the compter would relearn the idle because of the more air flow of the ls6. I did that and have drove for over 300 miles and its still doing it. Any ideas or advise. I am thinking I might have missed the memo about having to get it tuned or something like that after doing this. I dont know, but I am open for advise. Thank you all so much.

Check over everything, make sure all of your connections are connected and tight. Sounds like you have a vacuum leak going on somewhere.

Vacuum leak.. Check your brake booster line and stuff in the back of the intake.. PCV connections, etc.

And FWIW: the LS* computers relearn within seconds. It's not like the L98 OBD1 computers that needed a full drive cycle.

What did you do about the 98 coolant crossover tube under the intake? Did you also remove the green plastic pieces taped to the KS wiring harness?
