well, an '02+ ls6 cam went in with some ls6 springs and tr 7.4" pushrods. i got a pcm tweak for shift points too, and i must say that the car pulls much harder above 4500! idle is very much like stock- the only thing i noticed is that the exhaust note is a bit deeper. sounds strong at wot!

 

How much has all this cost you if you dont mind me asking? I was thinking about doing pretty much the same thing.

 

cam and springs were $200 used w/ 4k miles on them, pr's were $120 and install/pcm tweak is extremely variable.

 

what are the specs for the LS6 cam? where did you buy it from?

 

specs are 204/218, .551/.541", on a 117.5 c/l

i purchased mine used on another board, but you can find them for around $200 new from several sponsors.

 

ive had one for a few years.im still on stock PRs with no problems.its ok for what it costs.




i think im ready to go with a better cam.
