Yeah thats on the HW. That 6th OD gear really helps out alot on the HW, but if ur driveing normally in town or "city" you wont see anything close to that.

The camaro did better that my monte on teh HW but around town the Monte Beat it hands down.

Really? I'll have to take your word for it because I can't hear your car because it's too far behind mine

J/K

I love the LS1. The extra horses and better gas milage just make it a better base to start with IMO. I always hear these LT1 guys talk trash in the kill stories section about how they destroyed another LS1. It seems that there has been a record outbreak of heavily moded heads/cam/n20 lt1's lineing up against stock or lid and catback only LS1's

LS1's rule! Ok not really but it sounded good.

LS1>LT1

C5>LS1

03 cobra > c5

Z06>03 cobra

and so on. But........

Lamborghini > all

Yeah yeah but I have been in love with Lamborghini's ever since I saw cannon ball run as a kid back in the ancient 80's. SWEET looking car. Just my opinions.

An F-body 25k miles. No repairs. Your car should be in a musuem.

I can't argue with that! LT1's (even stock, but especially with aftermarket exhaust) sound sweet! They sound more like a traditional SBC. The LS1 (stock) sounds like a throaty Chev V6 (2.8 / 3.1). At least after putting the cat-back on my car, it "sounds" a little more respectable (but I still like the sound of my friends' 95 & 96 LT1's ).

I understand that but the C5 from what I have been told weighs less and stock for stock I believe should slightly edge a z28 or TA. But hey even if it doesn't the C5 is just a sweeter looking car (IMO).
