Cant we all just get a long.
I wonder if the Ford guys have to deal with this crap over and over and over and over again.
My vote if for my Jeep wrangler 4.0 inline six with 33" tires, it would thump any Lt1 or Ls1 on this forum.......as long as we run the 1/4 through a corn field.

Unless you are taking price into consideration the LS1 is superior. An LT1 can satisify anyones speed appetite. But mod for mod L1 is superior.
But that doesn't mean there aren't good reasons to buy an LT1.

I've driven both for extended periods when I traded my car with a friend's 01 Z28 for a week.
I'll take my car anyday. Low end grunt around town is what it's all about.
If I can't feel like I'm accelerating hard then what's the point.
