LS1 in my 96 / LT1 Gauges on LS1 Engine??? Adapter??

Alright, putting a 99 LS1 in my 96 camaro, now I heard that everything will work except for the Tachometer, in which you have to use an adapter for but I cannot find this adapter, what must I do to get the tach on my LT1 Guages to work with this LS1 engine?

Don't waste your money on that. The main difference is the LS1 PCM only put out 2 pulses per revolution and not the 4 your LT1 tach needs. The PCM can be programed however to put out 4 pulses per revolution. Your gonna have to get the PCM programed anyway to eliminate various codes.

GO check out LS1TECH.COM in the conversions & Hybrids section. You will find more information on LS1 swaps than you will know what to do with.
