i'm thinking of swaping my lt1 for an ls1 besides horsepower are there any other benefits to the swap

 

Its a much easier powerplant to get power out of
Easier to work on
You can get way more radical with cam profiles and still maintain decent fuel mileage
Much more dedicated aftermarket supply
Many various models to choose from
Plenty will chime in and say its easier/cheaper to buy an Ls car but if you already
have a body go for it! Lt1 front ends look meaner anyway...lol
