Ls1 Intake

So I heard that a ls6 intake is the most bang for your buck, but I cant find any that are real cheap. I find them for around 300 and stuff on ebay. But then I also find brand new weiand ls1/ls6 intakes for like 325. So does the weiand not put out as much as the ls6 intake or for the price difference is it better to go with. If you can help it would be great thanks.

Ls6 is pretty cheap used. $300-325 shipped.

I don't know anyone who uses/used a Weiand.

GM High Performance Magazine had a blown 02 Camaro with a Weiand making 800+hp, but forced induction changes things.....

GMHTP did an intake comparison a while back. The Weiand made less power than the LS6. It started to come on, but it was too high in the RPM range.

What year LS1 are you talking about? You do know that 01 up came with the LS6 intake right?
