What is the best intake for a ls1 engine and if you knwo I would like to know which one is the best bang for the buck and just the best one over all. Thanks

 

Best bang for the buck = ported stock TB and an LS6 intake. It's worth at least 15-20rwhp over the stock TB and LS1 intake and slightly more if you have a cam. You can pick up a used one for right around $300 shipped.

Best overall = F.A.S.T. 90/90. Picks up around 15-20rwhp over the LS6/ported TB. Look to spend around $1000 for the intake manifold and TB.

LS6 = Better than stock, good for Heads/Cam

FAST = Anything more extreme than H/C.
