Ls1 is in block cam?
I always thought that the ls1 was and overhead cam??it really is an in block cam???

Yes, the cam is in the block, not an ohc motor.

The LS1 may be GM's Gen III SBC, but it's still a conventional pushrod engine. Who knows what the future holds, though.
