Low idle out of the blue, IAC?

Whelp, I went out to start up my 99 TA after it 2 days of not driving it, and the idle was really low/hunting. Like 400-600 rpm or so. It initially seemed to have a hint of hesitation as I revved it a little, but it seemed to run smooth enough.

After warming up it ran OK but everytime I came up to a stop and pushed in the clutch the RPMs would drop down to 400-600 or so rpm again, still smooth but too low. Never cut out but I'm sure it was close. Drove it 5 miles or so to work, still idling too low when I got there.

I pulled the codes real quick w/ a cheapie scanner and there were none stored.

I'm going to try resetting the IAC when I get off work, anyone have anything to try? Is the proper procedure to unplug the IAC, turn on the ignition for a few minutes, turn off ignition and replug, and turn on ignition for a few minutes again? That's all I could find for it...

Maybe the computer was somehow reset and needs to relearn the proper idle, if that was the case how long would it take, shouldn't it be idling ok after a 5 mile, 10 minute or so drive? Seems pretty similar to how the car ran last time I had to reset the computer for non-related issues. Don't know why that would get tripped while the car was just sitting here over the weekend.

I drove home in a pretty good rainstorm the last time I drove it before this weekend, and it rained pretty hard while the car was parked (outside, apt complex), but it ran 100% when I last turned it off. No issues w/ deep puddles or anything w/ the engine getting wet or sucking in any water as far as I know. Thought everything was fine until this morning...

Thanks for any input.

I've seen this on several cars. A proper cleaning of both the MAF and the IAC almost always fixes it.
