I have loudmouth exhaust and I was looking at some hooker LT's. I was wondering how many people have Loudmouth and LT's put together and how loud is it? I mean I know it is going to be loud, but how loud? And is it bearable to have?

i done that swap on one recently with slp lt's and found it to be very loud. ok for me, but the guy who own's it now wants it quieter even though i warned him first. (this is with the slp cats on it also).

 

Get an off-road y-pipe and you will have the loudest car on the road

Just need some ear plugs

off road pipes are illegal in all 50 states on the road, just not all have testing like here in michigan.

Had that setup. It will wake the dead . Went to true duals, now no rasp and will still wake the dead.

 

Well i got hooker LTs and a Flowtech dump pipe and when its open it is REALLY loud. So loud my friend with a 8 second Nova complained about how loud it is. As far as that combo the resonator that slp uses doesnt muffle the sound at all but since you already got the SLP id go with high flow cats that will dampen the sound somewhat and will have negligable horsepower loss.
