Talking Loudmouth FANTASTIC

Ok guys. I finally got it - Loudmouth with central quad exit from SLP. It survived the air freight journey to the UK and today |I had it fitted.

All I can say is AWESOME. This is how my car was meant to sound and now the back view looks real mean and cool.

If anyone is concerned about the sound - don't be. We drive modern American Muscle cars they should sound meaty and make people turn to look as you cruise past.

I can't tell if it really performs better but it sure does feel responsive and I'm sure the sound make me feel it's performing like a savage animal.

I'll get some pics and post them cos the quad piece is just beautiful.

Anyway, must go and rev the beast some more. The roads here in the UK will never sound the same again.

Cool! Catback exhaust is one of the next mods on my list and I was seriously considering SLP's Loudmouth. I'm glad to hear from someone satisfied with it.

Congrats. Can't wait to see pics of it.

I'm getting the LM with dual/dual but I really wanted the quad. Now though, I think if I was to spend $800 on exhaust, I'd have to go with GMMG.

Talking

Another 100 miles on it and still a big satisfied grin on my face.

You're dead right about not many cars in the UK with this sound - it's great to stand out from the crowd. And for $549 for the combined package of Loudmouth plus quad piece from SLP (P/N 30260) it has to be good value.

Pics will follow when I can stop driving it.

You don't need to spend $800 for the GMMG. You can get it through the f-bodyhideout.com GP price like I did. $650 shipped

Yea.. With the loudmouth, heel-toeing while braking to a turn is rediculously awesome sounding. And going thru tight turns in 1st and powering out of em and shifting to 2nd with a chirp and the exhaust wailing.. Maybe a lighter well setup roadster can enter the tight turns faster, but your corner exit will still be pretty fast, thanks to a healthy dose of tq, so you'll be rocketing and passing them coming out of the turn!

Also, crusing in 5th in front of traffic with a burble, and suddenly down shift to 2nd while rev matching and literally leap away from traffic while rowing thru 2nd and 3rd.

Also, driving and coasting in 1st and 2nd in cities, the exhaust sounds resonate off all the buildings like an echo chamber..

I've replaced the hollow resonator chamber to smooth out the sound a bit..

True, true. That still is a bit much for me right now though.

Talking Head turner

It sure does make heads turn for a second look over here in the United Kingdom.

Thanks for your comments.
