Long Tubes: Flowtech vs Basani vs Hookers

Any suggestions or positives/negatives between them all. They're all roughly the same price.

What's wrong with QTP's?

You get what you pay for. Flowtech is known to have ****ty welds, flanges that aren't straight, and leaks. Now thats not to say that every set is like that, but it happens, probably more than it should. Basani's are mid length headers... if thats what you're looking for then they should work out fine. I would go with the hookers myself. They are known to be a quality header.

i've had good results with my flowtechs. the welds were not pretty but they functioned just fine. the fit was PERFECT, even the Ypipe was absolutely perfect.

although after 2 yrs of south florida salt and rain...they collectors are beginning to rust. the primaries are as good as new though.

I have the Hookers with no complaints after four years. A lot of people swear by Pacesetters for the price...

Flowtechs are the same design as hookers. They're both owned by Holley.

Any reason that you aren't considering Pacesetter?

I'm not much for QTP. For the cost of them I could have some ported heads....

I like my slp headers. I know clearence sucks by about 1.5 inches, but i picked mine up for 200 bucks. I say look for some used ones.

I'm pretty sure Baissani's are mids. I like my Pacesetters - good bang for buck.
