Long tubes

What do you guys think of the Edelbrock Victor LT's. I'm thinking of getting them and i want to know what everyone thinks about them. Thanks in advance. And would i have to take of my EGR and AIR?

my friend with his TA... had hooker LTs, and after about a year, it melted some part of his AC.... im getting them put on, and i was wondering if thats common or was a wierd instance?? anyone know??
