Question Long term sit...

I have been stationed in the overseas since last Sept. My Z/28 has been sitting the whole time. I had my Dad and brother look after it; starting it once a month, that kind of stuff. My question is there anything I should look at hard before I start driving it again? I lubed the crap out of all the hoses and seals before I left, but I don't need any unpleasant suprises before I ship it to Germany. Thanks...

i would refrain from starting it at all...when you let it sit, let it sit. just unhook the battery and leave it be, its much better for the engine.
