The first one is stupid and the second one is probably a ported stocker.

Your sig makes no mention of an LS6 intake. So if you've still got the stock LS1, save your money for an LS6 intake, as you'll see a better gain.

And stay away from aftermarket throttle bodies unless you're stepping up to a 90MM intake setup. A ported stock TB works quite well, and can be found cheaper than either of those 2 listings.

its not in my sig because my fuel pump, 42# injectors, rotors, hawk pads, ls6 intake, and sfc's are sitting next to my desk waiting to be installed. i want to have everything done at once. im ordering a ls1 to ls6 pcv conversion kit on monday also.

Just get the stocker ported and you'll be good to go.

Futral did it for me for $100, but I'm local. Might want to call them.

I saw the same auction on E-BAY went on edelbrock.com found the part number for the throttle body than checked it with summit and they get almost $400 for it. I ordered one because it has an idle air bleed and I am installing a new cam/head set up and don't have the money for a 90/90 rite now. Her is the link http://www.edelbrock.com/automotive_...tb_chevy.shtml
I will post more when I get it.

Why is the first one stupid? Your comment is stupid.

I've seen the second one in person. A friend bought the 85mm one and it is a very nice high quality piece, not a ported stocker. After seeing it, I would not hesitate to buy one if I was needing a larger TB.

But what good does it do on an LS1 or LS6 manifold with a 78mm opening? I could see getting the 80mm.
