Which heads are you guys running and with what cam? In your opinion which heads are more reliable and will produce more power with a 224-228ish cam the LE2 or the patriot ls6 stage 2?

Also who sells ls6 intake manifolds cheap just to stray from the subject?

 

you'll get the best deal on LS6 intakes from SLP. $370 bucks for the intake, block off plugs and coolant crossover.

i'm not familiar with LE2 heads so I can't comment on them. The Patriot heads are a good performing head for the money. I wouldn't have any problem running them. Their 6.0L Stage 2 heads are going on my turbo motor when that gets underway.

 

Look around locally for an LS6 intake. I picked mine up for $275.

Lloyd does some nice work on the LS heads, I don't see how a Patriot head could match the performance.

I haven't heard of ANYONE using LE heads on their LS1.

Just a heads-up.

I have PP heads on my car and it makes great power. It all depends on the setup, not on the heads or cam or intake solely.

 

The bonus with the PP2's is that they will cut them to what ever chamber size you want at no additional cost plus no core charge.
